Terms of use.

These terms cover your use of Kith, a private app for coordinating daily life at home between a family and their nanny. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy policy.

Who can use Kith

You must be an adult (18+) able to enter a binding agreement. Kith is for adults — parents and the nannies they invite — to coordinate the care of children; it is not a service for children to use themselves.

Closed beta — provided "as is"

Kith is in early access. Features may change, break, or be removed, and there may be downtime or bugs. We provide the service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

Your account & nanny access

• You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.
• You control who joins your family: a co-parent by email invite, and a nanny by sharing your 6-digit code. You can revoke a nanny's device or reset access at any time in the app.
• Only invite people you intend to share your family's information with.

Your content

The information and content you add (profiles, menus, photos, diary, messages, pay figures) remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and display it to your family and operate the service. You're responsible for what you put in, and confirm you have the right to share it (including photos of and information about your children).

Acceptable use

• Use Kith lawfully and only for your own household coordination.
• Don't upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, or attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or other families' data.

Pay tracking is not advice

Kith's salary, babysitting, leave and loan features are a convenience tracker to help you keep records. They are not payroll, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and may contain errors. You remain responsible for paying your nanny correctly and for complying with any laws that apply to you.

AI-generated meal ideas

Some meal suggestions and recipes are generated by AI. We add safety checks (including filtering against the allergies you record), but you must always check ingredients yourself before cooking or serving, especially for allergies and young children.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kith is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service during this beta. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending use

You can stop using Kith and request deletion of your account at any time (email hello@kithdays.com). We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or to protect the service or other users.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Kith means you accept the updated terms.
